Meals Packaging Event by HAW

If we can make a little change to the world, why not ? If we can make the world a better place to live, why not ? If we are having more than enough food, why not we share ? If we have some time , why would we choose to be insensitive ? Hunger Awareness Week is coming to an end soon , but our spirit doesn't end anytime, it is forever. We all know that hunger hurts so much  , but it is so little that we can actually do.  

That is why MEAL PACKAGING is one of the biggest event of Hunger Awareness Week.

Please do come and show us some support .Your presence do mean a lot to us, and of course to all the people who are starving . We hope our effort will make all of us remember that we can actually reach the starving people, make them smile and fill their stomach ..The feeling is really different. 

Come join us tomorrow 9 in the morning and all of us, will be there, we will pack the food together and we will make the world beautiful :)

Relay Against Hunger updates

Relay Against Hunger was a charity run organised by The Hunger Team in order to raise funds for our project. We all know that organising such events need a lot of manpower and cooperation and of course... YOUR CONTRIBUTION ! :)  I am glad to tell that the event was a success . You guys and girls filled our morning with pretty and excited faces. It was also our first event for the Hunger Awareness Week and your presence really mean so much to us.

However please do remember our effort of feeding the hunger did not just stop there but it continues. We  hope we will bring everlasting awareness that hunger hurts a lot. We never know until we experience it ourselves. That is what Hunger Awareness Week for. And.... think before you leave your food because your trash might just be other people's treasure :_)

Looking back at these photos.. all these faces were priceless. Nothing is more precious than a beautiful heart :) Look at the crowd, the spirit , the excitement.

Yes that's air plane !Tomorrow the hunger fighters will turn the ordinary UNMC Great Hall to an air plane where you can find the Mr Pilot and hot air stewardess! It is a night to share and of course to talk about the hunger crisis and how we can be a part of it ! Come and join the sharing and we promise it will be something different and WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENT !

We will change your thought that we are too far away from reaching the starving kids ! We actually can !!

So promise me you will be there tomorrow ! :)

Run for the world ! Relay Against Hunger!

Relay Against Hunger ! 
The Relay Against Hunger is a 5km charity run to raise funds to purchase dry ingredients that will be packed and sent to those that are facing severe hunger. Among the activities that will be happening along with the run would be the opening ceremony, that will officiate the starting of the Hunger Awareness Week. Food and drink will be sold on that day!

Our very first event , the charity run for for Hunger Awareness Week is finally around the corner which is this coming Saturday ! What is better than knowing that your sweat will contribute to the world hunger crisis? Yes, that kind of satisfaction ! Have you sign up for the run  ? If yes, be anticipated for the run and if no , please do stop by our booth latest by tomorrow to sign up for the charity run !

Fill your weekend with this meaningful run and think when was the last time you wake up at 7 in the morning for such event like this !

We Need You Night Tickets !

If you are encountered abnormally friendly people saying Hi when you walk pass by the SA Circle, yes they might be us , putting a big hope in our hearts that you will stop being insensitive and ignore us. Our booth has already established for quite some time now and we do hope we are loud enough to grab your attention . Here in our booth we have donation boxes, we have all the informations that you needed to be a part of us, and we are selling the cute orange t-shirts ( with a toothpaste as our free gift) ...!

Do come and pay us a visit or say Hi to us , we all are ready to tell you everything about our events. Oh yeah we are working really hard on the donation drive. If you have more pennies that you needed, why not you give out some to the needies ? Just RM 1 you gave, it's already one meal for the poor kids that are still starving. And when  you donate RM 5 or more, you got a chance to win a LUMIX Camera during the lucky draw that will be held during our Hunger Talk ! Come on , don't ever miss out any of our great opportunity to bring back awesome gifts ! Most importantly , by paying some attention to us and our events ,we knew that you're not one of those insensitive minds !

We are still distributing flyers regarding all our events and please at least .... come to support us ! Be proud to change the world :)
